QWET: Quadface Well Estimation Template
QWET is a well estimation template application co-developed by Quadface and EnergySys, built directly on the EnergySys cloud platform. It transforms how operators approach daily production well estimates, replacing manual or spreadsheet-based approaches with a configurable, auditable system.
At the core of QWET is the Advanced Comparative Regression (ACR) model with a ‘Best Fit Automatic’ feature. The system runs multiple regression types simultaneously, including linear, second to fourth order polynomial, and inverse polynomial, and selects the optimal curve based on statistical performance. Engineers can also specify their own curve type or coefficients when they need manual control.
QWET handles oil, gas, and water estimation separately on a per-well basis. It ingests measured rates from VFM or MFM devices, well test results, and well configuration data, and produces a detailed curve report for side-by-side comparison of all regression models. Date-sensitive definitions mean curve validity is tracked over time, and the audit trail is built in.
For operators managing large well counts across FPSO or complex onshore assets, QWET gives production engineers a tool that is far more accurate and far less manual than what most teams are currently using.
