When EnQuest took over a major North Sea asset and terminal, outdated production and allocation tools stood between them and a clean operational picture.

EnQuest already used EnergySys to manage other North Sea assets. The path was clear: standardise on a single platform and simplify operations across the board.
They worked with reseller partner Accord Energy Solutions, who brought deep expertise in upstream operations and allocation models.
The inherited system was retired ahead of schedule, removing duplication and technical debt from the outset. Historical data was extracted, transformed, and loaded into EnergySys by Accord, structured, clean, and audit-ready from day one. Allocation models for Magnus and SVT were rebuilt using reusable templates already proven across EnQuest’s other assets, ensuring consistency and reducing overhead.

In a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment, EnQuest’s team didn’t just complete a migration. They came out of it with a cleaner operation than the one they inherited.
Production data management is now standardised across all assets. Compliance and reporting are streamlined. Long-term operational risk is reduced. And the lock-in that comes with maintaining an inherited legacy system is gone.
