Pricing.
It’s common for a lot of products in the industry to have hidden costs of ownership, like the costs of creating a custom extension or the costs of an upgrade project. We don’t agree with opaque pricing models, so we developed a straightforward annual subscription offering total transparency with no hidden costs. In some cases, the TCO can be as little as 5% of a traditional system.
We understand your language and try to adopt models that make things easier for you. Our simple pricing model is based on an “asset unit”.
An asset unit is a collection of connected physical entities, such as a platform and associated wells, or a pipeline and its facilities. It has an associated set of relatively simple business calculations and workflows, typically run against a daily reporting period.
The list price for a small, simple asset unit starts at an annual subscription of GBP £35,000 per annum and rises on a multiplier-based pricing matrix reflecting the relative scale and complexity of the asset unit.
There is no up-front licensing fee, just an annual subscription. Typically, discounts to list price are available for clients deploying the platform to multiple assets
What’s included in a subscription.
A subscription to the EnergySys Cloud Platform gives you everything you need to get the job done:
There’s no long-term contract and no complex licensing or deployment process – you are not tied in. Your data remains your data and free for you to exit easily, should you want to.
Our clients work with us because we provide a great service, not because we’ve locked them in.
How we evaluate your subscription level.
We assess the scale and complexity of your asset unit by evaluating the likely storage requirements for your data, and the likely processing resources the application will consume.
Typically, the amount of data likely to be stored by the application is a reflection of the number of measurements and their frequency, and the quantity of calculated results. This is usually correlated with the physical aspects of the asset, like the number of wells. An asset unit of small scale might be a single offshore platform with up to twenty wells.
We assess the likely processing requirements by reviewing the breadth and complexity of the calculations that are expected to be incorporated into the applications. A simple application might include daily and monthly well and field allocation, for example, and associated reporting. Certain calculations, such as forecasting, can be particularly resource and data intensive, so their inclusion is likely to increase the assessment of complexity and scale.
