EnergySys announces new partnership with KELTON

EnergySys Limited, the leading oil and gas cloud-technology provider, is delighted to announce a groundbreaking strategic partnership with KELTON. The partnership sees them become the first licensed reseller for the market-leading KELTON Common Calculation Library (KCCL).

KELTON is the foremost independent flow measurement consultancy and software developer for the oil and gas industry. They’ve been helping international and national operators ensure full compliance with industry regulations for over 20 years.

KCCL was originally developed as a common calculation library for use by KELTON’s flow measurement consultants. Over time, this has evolved to become the backbone of KELTON’s world renowned desktop calculation software, FLOCALC. Today, KCCL is the most comprehensive library of calculations available to flow measurement engineers. Its easy-to-use and accessible library significantly improves standardisation, auditing and efficiency for flow measurement engineers.

All calculations within KCCL are verified and continually updated with full traceability to the latest standards.

Iain Pirie, Managing Director of KELTON, said ‘We are delighted to be working with EnergySys. They have proven themselves to be an industry leader in cloud-native platform technologies; providing a scalable, flexible and configurable hydrocarbon management solution that we believe to be transformative to the oil and gas industry.

The new partnership means more customers will now be able to benefit from KELTON’s extensive and verified KCCL calculation library.’

The partnership heralds a strengthening of bonds between EnergySys and KELTON. As a licensed reseller, EnergySys is the first company outwith KELTON to be able to offer KCCL to their users. It will be integrated into EnergySys’ new cloud Measurement Service (due for release in 2021).

Dr Peter Black, Managing Director of EnergySys, said ‘I am incredibly excited about this new evolution of our long-standing partnership with KELTON. We have worked closely together for a long time, but I believe this new agreement represents a really transformational step. KCCL is a widely recognised standard for flow calculations and, by integrating it with our new Measurement Service and our broader platform, we will be able to deliver those benefits to our global customer base.

We expect this to be the first of many initiatives with KELTON and we look forward to exploring other integration opportunities for our cloud products’.
