So let’s clear this up…
What is EnergySys? And why should you care?
Let’s start with what EnergySys is not:
EnergySys is not a product where you buy a licence off the shelf, log in, and expect it to just match how your business actually works.
On its own, it’s not SaaS.
EnergySys does not come with industry rules, calculations, or processes hard-coded. There is no domain-specific logic baked into the platform. It is not hydrocarbon accounting software.
And none of that is a weakness. Actually, it is intentional.
We purposely don’t provide the finished application.
Instead, EnergySys is a platform and toolkit designed for configurators.
Who and what are configurators?
Configurators are the people responsible for building and maintaining applications for complex businesses. They understand the rules, the data, the edge cases, and the decisions that need to be supported.
EnergySys gives them the tools to turn that knowledge into working systems, without needing to become a full software development team. And they are experts at using it.
Using EnergySys, configurators define the logic. They shape calculations, workflows, and outputs so they reflect how the business actually operates. When things change, as they always do, the configuration changes with them.
And the configurator exists because out-of-the-box solutions don’t work for complex businesses.
Configurators can exist within Partners (the likes of Accord, InfoSys, Elite, Quadface, TechXSA, Wipro) or within customers themselves.
From the end user’s perspective, EnergySys feels like a purpose-built system designed specifically for their organisation. They log in to get answers, run processes, and move on with their day. They are often not involved in configuring the application. That work has already been done for them.

Our role is to run the platform. We provide the cloud infrastructure, hosting, security, access control, and performance that make this model reliable at scale. We keep the system available, secure, and up to date, while staying deliberately out of your business logic.
